Batch came in mid 4th quarter and hell he moved the team down, got a score, so at this point why not? LOL.
In all honesty though, I think we saw that Dixon is just not ready tonight. He struggled seeing the field, was picked twice and could have been 4 times easily. Playing against the starters, he was telegraphing several of his throws. It's a learning experience for him, Hines mentioned as much in an interview saying his this was the chance for Dixon to have the handcuffs taken off and he had to learn somehow.
Lefty was in with all the backups and got killed but still managed to move the offense some. IMO, it's still going to be Leftwich on opening day.
