Does anyone share the same view as me?
If he is at 18 we should select him.
He's a ballhawk something we have lacked for many years and relied on one person (Troy) who we can't anymore since the league really found out and could even continue to expose us next year.
Earl is a dynamic player who plays the high risk high reward game and usually get it's right.
Now... He's a versatile player and can play anywhere apart from SS in our secondary. He would easily become our best Cornerback in the first two years if he moves back to FS.
I don't believe the signing of Ryan Clark has the Steelers 100% happy with the secondary it was Clark who asked to come back so the Steelers obviously had a plan (hopefully to draft E.T.)
(BTW I'm love Clark I'm just putting it that way)
The only real disadvantage that the Steelers will see in him is how much experience he has but i don't think that matters with him. He was real good from the Start. I don't care who we pick if we pass him up It's our loss.
I would trade up to Seahawks #14 and offer them our third round for him or give them Limas Sweed or both.
