Which non steeler free agent would you like to see picked up this year?

It doesn't matter because it won't happen...
If we ever did dip into free agency: I'd say (OL) Jahri Evans from the Saints, or Logan Mankins from the Pats. (MLB) I like Barrett Ruud from the Bucs or Demeco Ryans from the Texans. At (DB) Richard Marshall from Carolina or Leigh Bodden from the Pats (he's not great but waaayy better than Gay!). At Safety I'm hoping they resign Clark as he and Troy made a great combo last year. Without Troy the entire secondary looked weak, not just Clark. If we let go of Reed, there is Dan Carpenter from the Dolphins (but he is exclusive rights) and Garrett Hartley from the Saints. Just some of the top free agents I saw for 2010. I know we don't go for FA, but hey, I saw the thread. Go Steelers!!!!!

Bleeding Black and Gold since 86'
the only reason i ask is this is an uncapped year and if we can't get what we want in the draft then free angency is our only other option. and even if colbert said they will treat it like a capped year they might have to change their plans to fill in the weak spots with some proven quality players. i would love to have jahari evens as apart of the steelers o line.
another scrub from a pop warner team up north...
I would love Charles Rodgers, Karlos Dansby or Michael Huff (possible cap casualtie)... but those are all pipe dreams!

Cornerback Leigh Bodden has expressed the desire to return to the Patriots [team stats], saying after the season, “It would be great to come back and play with these guys.”
Yet, according to a source close to Bodden, the team has only contacted the player or his representatives once since the season ended. No offer was made.
A rare potential star on the open market, Bodden just finished a one-year, $2.25 million deal. He had 56 tackles, five interceptions and one touchdown for the Pats.
Bodden is seeking a multiyear contract worth between $5 million
Adrian Wilson! I think he's a FA this year???

PFT: Final Eight Plan Restricts Trades
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports that Article XXI of the NFL's collective bargaining agreement spells out the rules regarding the Final Eight Plan, where the goal is to preserve the competitive balance in an uncapped year by limiting the free agent acquisitions teams that advance to the divisional round of the previous year's NFL playoffs.
Citing Section 7 of Article XXI, Florio notes that these teams are restricted in what they can do in the trade market, as well:
"No Club subject to the provisions of this Article may, for one League Year, trade for a player it otherwise would not be permitted to sign as an Unrestricted Free Agent as a result of the provisions of this Article"
IMO Bodden is Garbage...
