Wow, what a terrible year for the entire Steelers Super Bowl team. Think about it:

Ben Roethlisberger: motorcycle accident, appendectomy, concussion
Hines Ward: Hamstring injury, knee injury
    Troy Polamalu: various injuries
Joey Porter: injured, missed a couple games
Ricardo Colclough: terrible fumblitis, then season ending injury
    Veron Haynes: season ending injury
Willie Parker: after great performances on the road in the playoffs last year, he's done nothing on the road this year
Ike Taylor: started to be considered a shutdown corner last year, has gotten burned repeatedly this year
Antwaan Randle El: Super Bowl team last year, Redskins this year
Chris Hope: Super Bowl team last year, Titans this year
    Jerome Bettis: lost his dad

RIP Papa Bus, and may his memory be eternal.

He was dedicated to never missing a game Jerome played in his 13 year career and always wanted to see his son win a Super Bow and succeedl which he was able to do before he sadly passed away today. They recently did an interview with Johnnie and Gladys Bettis and they still said they never miss a Steelers game on TV so far this year. Just a very very sad sad story and a huge huge loss to the great Steelers family. Ill be at the game Sunday against Tampa Bay and Im going to assume they will do a moment of silence for Jerome's father. I wouldnt expect anything less from the most classy organization in the National Football League.

Terrible day in Steelers country. RIP Mr. Bettis! He was a class act and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
