Time for Joey to start kicking some butt! Glad he's back.

LATROBE, Pa.: The Steelers announced today that outside linebacker Joey Porter has been activated from the team's Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Porter, an eight-year veteran, was placed on the team's PUP list on July 29, while recovering from offseason knee surgery. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Porter led all NFL linebackers with 10.5 sacks in 2005.

The Steelers did not have to make another roster move to activate Porter.
