    Butler Turns Down 'Phins

With Al Groh opting to become the defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech, the Tuna's team is still looking for a successor to Paul Pasqualoni.

And they'll have to keep looking.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that Steelers linebackers coach Keith Butler received an offer to become the Dolphins defensive coordinator, and Butler declined.

Butler, per the Post-Gazette, is regarded as the favorite to succeed Dick LeBeau, when he eventually retires as defensive coordinator of the Steelers.

Good news, hope he does take over for DL when he retires. He's been learning from him for 7 seasons.

Butler's got a great group of linebackers to work with and there's no reason to think 2010 will be anything but a great year for his unit. He has his work cut out for him with Farrior clearly losing a step in 2009, but overall he's a good coach and I'm glad he's staying on.
