The offensive line needs to be upgraded. The line is to inconsistent. Willie needs to be more consistent. Not one good game followed by one bad game. The Steelers need to bring someone in that can help get regular pressure on the QB. Townsend gone? Anthony Smith plays a bigger role in the secondary next season. Special teams just needs to be blown up and start over. Cowher needs to make a quick decision as to whether he wants to coach here next season.

Just some random rumblings.

Offensive is offensive plain and simple. The entire unit needs to be re-evaluated. It all starts and ends with them. They were pathetic today, absolutely pathetic.

Just some random rumblings.

1. The Oline needs rebuild bigtime. The right side can go or die for all I care. I can't stand Starks or Simmons. Jeff Hartings has had a nice run but his career is done. I want Joe Thoms the OT from Wisconsin bigtime.

2. The Steelers need to inject some youth in the LB core. They need youth at both OLB and ILB sports.

3. A big physical corner with speed would be nice.

Simmons is terrible, Chris K should have been starting since mid season. Starks is getting schooled but he's the best we have and I still think he can be good. Hartings need to retire and get Okobi in there and start his era.

Just something else that has been bugging me. Where was the fire, the hunger this season? Too many times the Steelers just seem to go through the paces.

There wasn't any. Even from the first game of the year they didn't have any hunger. That all starts up top.
