    Steelers vs. Ravens (Wk. 12)

    vs.

    Sunday November 19, 2006
    M&T Bank Stadium - 1:00 PM EST

The Steelers have their work cut out for them this week as they face one of the top rated defenses in the league... the Ravens! This is sure to be a hard hitting game this weekend as the Steelers try and claw their way back into contention for the AFCN.

The Ravens have one of the best defenses in the league especially when it comes to stopping the run. Parker and company have shown this year they don't like running the ball on the road! Parker is averaging just over 50 yards per game on the road and it's going to need to change for the Steelers to have a chance this year. Considering Parker hasn't broken the century mark at all on the road... this looks like the perfect weekend for him to do it especially against this Ravens defense!

We all know Ben is good when he's not throwing interceptions. The Ravens D is banged up right now so Ben might be able to pick them apart some especially with the emergence a Santonio Holmes! Holmes is coming off his best performance of the season last week and finally starting to make a name for himself... rather than Santurdio or Santurnover! With Ward, Holmes and Washington the Steelers have the weapons to make some noise this weekend, plus lets not forget about Miller! Here are 3 keys for a Steelers victory this weekend.
    • The running game has been far from being impressive on the road, if the Steelers want to make a run at the playoffs getting Willie off and to races early is the biggest key to this game!
    • No Turnovers! This has been the back breaker for the Steelers this year.
    • Special Teams! Special Teams! Special Teams!

Unfortunately, Reid is still out this weekend! We all looked forward to him returning the ball only to see him sidelined for weeks now!! Everybody looks ready to go including Ward!

I am with you on that one, Capt. He needs to keep being our return man cause he will make a huge difference in field position.

chad brown would be good on special teams..he's still got some speed and good tackling ability.

I hate seeing Taz on ST though, man one bad block the wrong way on him and that could be it !
