Cook stewing chicken in mixture of water, salt, pepper, onion (chopped) and parsley to taste until chicken is tender. use enough water to cover the chicken(all ingredients are optional, listed to give a variety of styles to cook the chicken)
Remove chicken from liquid. Add water to make 4 quarts of broth. Pick chicken from bones.... DO NOT DRAIN JUICES FROM CHICKEN AS IT IS USED FOR FLAVORING!!!
Add chicken meat and about 5 medium potatoes (diced or cut to how you please) to broth. Cook until potatoes are almost soft.
Add Pot Pie dough (noodles and or noodle type product you can buy)
Mix above ingredients, Be sure chicken broth is boiling. Layer patches in boiling broth. Cover and simmer until done, about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
