The Steelers are trying to break a pattern of win 1 lose 3 this weekend as they travel to face their division rivals the Cleveland Browns. Looking at this match up on paper it looks like a sure thing for the Steelers but as this season progresses we are finding out that nothing is a for sure thing in the NFL! The Browns give up an awful lot of yards on the ground defensively so this is really to the Steelers liking especially with Willie coming off a career game last weekend!
The Steelers defense hasn't really showed up since the Raider game, but then again that was a soft team so hopefully they will show up for this game as well as the offense! Considering this is a big rival game the hitting will be hard and teams will be looking to settle a score! The keys to a Steeler victory are:
- Get the running game going
- Defense get to Frye and shutdown the little offense that the Browns do have
- Special Teams is must this game as the Browns are near the top of the league for both kick and punt returns.
Troy is coming off a concussion he sustained again the Saints last week. All eyes will be on him because he is the heart and soul of the Steeler defense! The Steelers have no other key injuries for this game.
Join us this Sunday here in the gameday thread as we talk about the game and cheer our Steelers to a victory!!!!
