Howie Long thinks 9-7 makes the playoffs

Personally I can see 9-7 making the playoffs in the NFC, however in the AFC I don't see anything less than 10-6 making a wildcard, and that's no given either.

Well the way things are going right now it could happen. You just don't know who will beat who any given week....lol
The Titans game still irks me!

That was no excuse for Baltimore to come back and win that game. I was livid with the Titans for that bullshit. They could of done us a huge favor if they would of won. At least Cincy lost in a major shootout.

Yeah thats true, this has been a crazy year but unless something crazy happens in December I just think you gotta be atleast 10-6 to have a prayer of making them.

These past 4 weeks there have been some eye brow raisers... for example the Dolphins beating the Bears last week, SF beating the Vikes... Houston has now beat Jacksonville twice this year!!!! You just never know and the AFC is so tough there could be a handful of teams at 9-7

I don't see us getting in unless we run the table. Although, if things do keep on going they way they are, with all of these upsets, I would love to be proved wrong.

The odds are against us going in at 9-7 but it could happen. I know I still have hope until we are really out of it. We still have 5 division games left so we still have a shot.

Ditto. It is a long shot, but hey after last year part of me still thinks we have a shot. I do not see it happening though, but like you I would love to be wrong lol.

The Pats are falling off the pace now too, losing 2 in a row and looking bad doing it. The more these AFC leaders continue to fall the better off we'll be if we can get on a streak.
