Carolina can't wina Stanley Cup. THey made one mistake since their last one.....they hired Tom Barasso as their goaltending coach.

I didn't realize Barasso was their GT coach It will be an interesting series. Not as much fun as playing the Flyers or the Caps. They will have Ron Francis behind the bench and Cowher in the stands cheering. How cool is it for the Stahl family? One of the brothers will be playing for the cup. Let's hope it's the younger one!

One thing for sure is we'll be facing a much better goalie. I'm not one of the ones who thinks the Russian rookie stood on his head. He made a few great saves but gave up many weak goals. I don't think we'll be scoring as many goals as last series so MAF is going to have to be up for the challenge.

Never would have thought we'd have home ice in the finals being a 4th seed. Let's use it and jump off to a 2-0 series lead next week!

Has anyone heard who Cowher is rooting for in this series? He was leading cheers for the Hurricanes last series. I'd guess he's pulling for the Pens this series. No matter where your life leads you, Pittsburgh is in your blood if you were born and raised there.

BlackandGoldBleeder, Now that's the MAF we need to win this series! Nice win and a great way to start the series off!

Way to start off the series with a win at home. Miroslav Satan was playing very well and I doubt we will be seeing Petr Sykora this playoffs. Hard to believe how their roles have reversed.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Hopefully he's rooting for the Pens.

This game was insane tonight. Pens win 7-4 and Geno has a hat trick. That third goal was sick!

That was a fun game and a great win by the Pens. Whoever was lucky enough to be there won't soon forget it.

Malkin was simply amazing, you won't see many goals like his 3rd.

Crosby ties the record for most playoff first goals with his sixth this year.

Little brother Jordan is quietly showing up his big brother Eric. Just like he did Jeff Carter & Alex (who is Crosby?) Semin before.

The Pens are now 6-1 since going down 2-0 to the Caps.

MAF looked terrible in the 1st but stepped it up the rest of the game.

We were lucky enough to see Lemieux & Jagr in the 80's & 90's. I don't think either are as good as Mario but we are watching something special with Sid & Geno.
