Ok I guess i be first to touch on this... Are you serious? Dis anyone see him in oakland? yuck the only think he may be good for is kick returns. I am content with what we have now. We got Ward and Holmes and Wallace and Sweed can battle it out for 3rd spot. Maybe if this just a one year deal or sumthing but think his production has fallen since he came in nfl. The past three seasons 49 catches and 3 tds? I'll pass
A one year deal, while Sweed and Wallace get their feet wet, would be ok with me.
If Sweed or Wallace end up getting more playtime as the season starts, not much dammage done and he could be a valuable insurance policy coming of the bench if God forbid any one of the starters gets hurt.
We brought Mathis and Morgan here for added veteran depth.
As of now we only have 2 proven veteran starters on the team at WR.
Scrap anything anybody did in Oakland, the past few seasons....the team has been a total train wreck.

He'd be a nice veteran fill in if Holmes,Ward or Sweed couldn't go..depending on his price i like him at the 4th spot..let Wallace learn the system and play special teams.
"He's running around there, running his mouth, doing all that, but if you watch him on film and really look, where was Ray Lewis? He was nowhere to be found. I could have tackled the water boy and had as many tackles as him. He didn't do nothing today. He's all mouth. When you talk like that, that's what happens: You get hit in the mouth. He's over there crying now, thinking about what went wrong. You got your Ass whipped, that's what." ~ Peazy
he must of begged us to bring him in....hes wayyy to lazy for us, he only brings his game against the broncos....he dominates the world against them
Steelers | Lelie could sign

John Harris, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers met with free-agent WR Ashley Lelie (Raiders) Monday, April 27, and could sign him, according to agent Peter Schaffer. "He had a great visit. The Steelers and I are going to continue to have open dialogue," Schaffer said. "I think there's some mutual interest, and we're going to keep discussing it."

After pulling a mini-T.O. and demanding a trade in Denver, I would think we'd be a bit reluctant to sign him, unless we're really not that confident in Sweed?

Do you remember the wide open drop in da AFC championship? lol No but I have faith in Sweed just a lil upset still as that was a ball you've got to catch they dont get anymore open then that. Anyways I think good crop of wr under Hines Ward with or without Lelie.
? though what ever happen to Dallas Baker?
If the Steelers are in fact looking for veteran FA WR's, who would you like besides Lelie?

theres a few intriuging names, veterans on there that jump out at you in the case that we wanna give sweed and wallace at least another year to get ready.
Marvin Harrison,Amani Toomer,Hell bring back Plaxico but all those or unlikely.
Matt Jones? Lance Moore? Malcom Floyd? I mean theres reason all these guys are free agents
I think we are fine as is but looking at that full list maybe lelie aint so bad
