    D scores!!

Looks like Whisenhunt is working on some new stuff.....

LATROBE, Pa. – In the playoff win in Cincinnati, he had Antwaan Randle El throw back to Ben Roethlisberger who then found Cedrick Wilson for a touchdown. In Super Bowl XL, he had Randle El throw to Hines Ward for a touchdown.
On Saturday at St. Vincent College, Ken Whisenhunt mixed it up even more. Now he's beginning to use defensive players to score touchdowns.
The Steelers' first week of training camp came to a rousing conclusion in front of close to 20,000 fans with the second installment of goal-line, a live tackling drill where the offense gets four chances to score a touchdown from the 5-yard line.
The first-team defense again kept the first-team offense out of the end zone, and when the second-team offense lined up over the ball for its chance, Brett Keisel moved from defensive end to tight end and James Harrison moved from outside linebacker to fullback.
And so when Charlie Batch threw a play-action pass to Harrison for a touchdown on second-and-goal from the 5-yard line, that meant Keisel and Harrison were two players smack in the middle of trash-talk heaven – they had been a part of the defense that kept the offense out of the end zone, and they were part of the offense that scored a touchdown.
"The defensive guys didn't want us talking trash to them after James scored, but we had to, a little bit," said Keisel. "It was fun."

Oh yeah that's what its all about. The Steelers have always been known for their Defense and running game first..since Ben has come to the team there's been a resurgence on the offensive side with all the creativity, more pass plays, and you know the defense loves nothing more than to assert itself during camp.

Yeah we had creativity when Slash was the QB and threw for alot of yards the one year Tommy started but overall, its been all about Blitzburgh... Mularkey and Whisenhunt are doing their best to make our offense as potent as our defense.

I think that they showed how potent our offense could be in the playoffs. We jumped out on teams and made them tried to beat out D after. Worked like a charm!

That game plans we had in the playoffs were outstanding, especially against the colts when NOBODY expected us to start throwing the ball all over creation, especially the colts themselves ! By the time they knew what hit them we were already up by a couple TD's !
