    My Upgraded Draft Wish List

If the draft turned out this way I would consider it a pretty good draft. Here goes.

Thigpen is a return specialist who is a burner!

im just not about mack in the first

or a FB anytime. but you cant just draft 4 olineman in one draft class because most of the will probably end up being bums, especially with our scouts. if we really want to have a good oline we need one of the best guys in the first or second round, not a bunch of late round misfit training camp fodder

My list is under the assumption that we take players that should be available when it is our turn to pick. Of course I would love for the Steelers to move up for a franchise left tackle. It is just something that the Steelers rarely do so I am not counting on it. Past the top 4 guys the rest are not going to have the impact that most of us are hoping for. Alex Mack is the top center and can also play guard. Even if we had him play guard his first year until we brought in more help, he couldn't be any worse at guard than Stapleton or Kemoeatu.

I would rather have the best center than the 5th or 6th best tackle.

If we're going to keep one (FB) on the roster then I want it to be someone other than Carey Davis. That guy sucks at everything you want or expect a fullback to do!

im just saying drafting 4 olinemen is never the way to fix a broken oline. you need to draft one or 2 quality guys or hit free agency. most teams dont have the kind of voids we have on the oline, when you need guys to contribute right away you need to draft high, were not looking for projects. and i think a WR needs to be included somewhere

I love the ayers pick, I mentioned him in another post. As for Mack, I'm with K-train. Also with K-Train with the WR needs, how about Hakeem Nicks late in the first. The kid has some hands, or Ramses Barden in the 3rd.

WR is a need...Nicks is one of my favorite WR's in this draft.....I also like Jeremy Maclin from Mizzouri and Kenny Britt from Rutgers.....I'm intrigued about Ramses Barden......Smaller WR's that I really like are Mike Thomas from Arizona and he also can return kicks.....I also like Jarrett Dillard from Rice......

I'm not against the Steelers drafting that many OL......They will have nine picks in this draft....If the Steelers don't trade up then they will have to use them all anyway.....

Eh, I am not a big fan of taking a Wide Receiver too early considering they just took Sweed last year in the 2nd round.

You gotta remember, Washington is a FA, Leaving us with Sweed, Ward, and Santonio. We need some competition in there. I mean, Dallas Baker is always an option.............I personally don't think Nate will be back. I imagine he'll end up somewhere like Minnesota or Tampa Bay.

Yeah, but I seriously do not think it is really necessary to draft a wideout in the first. Off the top of my head I can't remember who is a free agent ut someone like Mike Furrey or Shaun McDonald would not be a terrible low price free agent pick up. Both have played Special Teams too at times, and Furrey has even started at safety in the past.
