That play alone added 10 years to my life, lol ohhhh maaaaann I thought Harrisson was going to get the MVP just for that play, until Holmes came up huge!

It was the proverbial we will kick your ass play by harrison when he slamed danced that cardinal player. you granted my wish. what a game. i have never seen such an emotional steelers game in my life, watching since 1963.
And their fans.
No, TG, I wasn't kinda cheering inside. In fact, I was yelling, screaming, and cussing at the TV screen. That PF could have easily cost us the game. I know Harrison was getting mugged all night, but should have kept his cool better.
That said, that INT was right on time and greatest defensive play in SB history.![]()

Holmes did have a great, maybe the greatest catch ever. But Ben threw that ball, that was the only spot possible for a completion. No where else. Any higher incomplete, any lower, picked. A perfect pass after double pumping. This all after Holmes let a TD go right through his hands

My initial thought on the play was, great play by Harrison but there won't be enough time for Ben to take a shot at the endzone. How sweet it was.
It's no fun when the rabbit has the gun
Franco's catch still has to be the best in our history. The way everything lined up for the
play (the ball deflecting off helmet towards franco), we will never see that again. And
the way it still haunts madden to this day is funny as hell.
I think james' play could be argued as the best in sb history, there may be some equal
but none better.
Could we say the james/holmes plays 1,2 in sb history? hmmmmmm

I was reading the Q&A in my Steeler digest with MR. Rooney, and he said that they Immaculate Reception is the play that stands out more then even the first SB win for him. He says that on that play this team/franchise showed that they were a team/franchise of destiny. I cant belive I had to ask that ?????? lol
I say Harrisons pick six is the #1 play in SB history. Cant think of one other play that can be compaired to it. That play was the difference in the game. And it was bad ass. That was a 14 point swing. Massive play by an even more massive guy...lol
