I talked to the music director on the phone again today. Sounds like the bands will start playing around 11, but I'd be there early to get in.

I was just thinking about this. I want all the people that can come out to the show. A few reasons:

1) I want some people who know wasup to cheer
2) I want some people there who know the song

My thoughts are that I'm going to bring a burned copy of the song plus an instrumentals track. If I use the instrumental track, I'm going to need the crowd to put in the "Steelers" and "Pittsburgh" cheers of the chorus. If I have people there that already know the song and where to cheer, it will help get the rest of the crowd to join in.

My idea so far is to try to introduce the song as a remix of "We Fly High" but instead of "Ballin'" I want the crowd to yell "Steelers" first and "Pittsburgh" second. My thought is to signal the crowd to yell "Steelers" by waving my Terrible Towel, and to yell "Pittsburgh" when I point my mic to the crowd.

If you are there, get pumped up and cheer big to help hype up the rest of the crowd to get into it and build the energy!

Bufu called me right after he was finished and said it went really well. He had a great time and said he mentioned Steeler Addicts in the intro just like he originally made it and also said he had a bunch of people ask him where they can download the song at
