It would appear the hype has now gotten to the sane folks out there. As with politics people are picking on feeling not common sense. Check www.nfl.com. The latest poll results are now 55% to 45% in favor of Arizona!
Add it all up. Defense wins championships. Pittsburgh #1, Arizona #22. The playoffs have been a walk for Arizona. The barely beat a rookie QB from Atlanta. Atlanta!? C'Mon Man! Then Delhome went mental as the Panthers imploded. Carolina!? C'Mon Man! Last they give up 450+ yards to the Eagles, yes the Eagles. Westbrook hurt and who are their wide outs? C'Mon Man!
Now people believe this offensive jugernaught is poised to actually do something no one else has been able to do. That's right. The Steelers D played 9 of the 12 playoff teams this year and are still 14-4!
So we're supposed to believe a team that has run up numbers on such vaunted defenses as Seattle, St. Louis and New Orleans, and oh by the way what was their record against them, is now supposed to miraculously end up throwing passes all over the number 1 defense and outscore them! Seriously, this is the cool aide these people are drinking.
So, now that the national press has hyped the Cardinals this far, the Steelers will enter the game as a battle tested bully with a chip on their shoulder and more than a few points to prove.
Get the ambulances ready! It should be a good old fashioned butt kicking. And Arizona is supplying the butt!
