Sirus NFL Radio is reporting that Coach Dad plans to hang them up after the Super Bowl. Only a rumor right now.

I think this is a ploy to throw the Steelers off... Who reports this kind of stuff just before a game!

Suppose for a second though it is true... I think if the Steelers win, he'll back for a repeat. If they lose he might really consider retiring.

Hard to say but it seems that he is having fun coaching this defense. Its not like he wants to retire to spend more time with his kids, they are all grown up. Sooner or later he will retire and I am confident that Mike Tomlin can pick another defensive coach that could find some success with this group of guys!

Well LeBeau is at that age were he can retire any day.......If the Steelers win then I could see Coach LeBeau retiring.....What better way to end a great career.......

i just have a hard time seeing it. If we lose...ok. But when we win this I think that he will want to come back to win again. If this team can win 4 SB in 6 or 7 years that would be huge and its something Dick would love to have under his belt. He has all the pieces to make this work. I would be more shocked if he walked away after a win then I would be if we lost.

At his age and if the Steelers win the Super Bowl there is a real solid chance Coach LeBeau will retire....Its easy for us fans to be play the what if game.....But we don't have to go through the grind an NFL coach has to......Maybe at LeBeau's age its getting some what harder for him......I will be shocked if he retires period but I'm just looking at the possibilty that he might.......
