Steelers | Mendenhall should be ready to go for offseason program

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall (shoulder) thought he would need surgery after breaking his shoulder, but did not need surgery. He should be at full strength at the start of the offseason program.

Great news. I was really excited to see what this guy could do. Glad to hear things are going well with his recovery.
unless parker takes tomlins dick out of his mouth or gets hurt for the season, we'll never be able to see what mendenhall can do cause tomlin refuses to split the carries...........

Rasheed will get carries when he is ready. He was already getting carries before and he will get them again.
Hopefully now that he has some experience under his belt he'll be more like a vetern for the start of the season. He has some experience, but he'll still seem like a rookie next year.
That's great news... plus that means the bones are going to tougher now and a lot harder to break!
Is it just me or is this injury 'news' something we should have heard about 7 weeks ago?
Good god.. he got hurt September 29th.. 16 weeks ago. WTF took so long for them to say he wont need surgury?
