A rematch at Heinz Field from mid November
An 11-10 outcome we will always remember
Steelers vs. Chargers is the subject of this poem
This time the outcome would be win or go home
San Diego’s opening drive scored on a beautiful pass
But then Pittsburgh proceeded to open up the whoop ass
We thought Scifres might be the key to their attack
But it doesn’t matter the distance when Santonio runs it back
Ben may be our quarterback but he will do it all
Yesterday he threw a great block and even punted a ball
Props to our O-Line for keeping Big Ben upright
And to Willie and Heath for coming up big in this fight
Except for :17 in the 3rd our defense got to rest
And we challenged San Diego’s to give us their best
The Chargers had history on their side but it wasn’t enough
Our whole team deserves a game ball - they sure played tough
This was exactly the game we needed at just the right minute
Now there’s an AFC Championship game and we’re playing in it
Steelers vs. Ravens - it will be an all out war
Don’t watch this game if you expect a lot of score
There will be a lot of talking and a lot more hitting
We hate each other so it’s only fitting
The Ravens may be hurting but don’t make a fuss
There’s no better cure for them than to take the Superbowl trip from us
So bring it on Ravens - we hope to continue our streak
We’re going bird hunting and it all starts this week
