the fumbles didn't scare me at all, like i said in another thread, they are just rookie mistakes for holmes, and for willie he got nailed pretty good, and the first fumble he shouldn't have got the ball in the first place, that was a stupid dump off by ben

Your right Ben shouldn't have dumped that pass off to Willie. The Chiefs Dlineman was just waiting to kill Willie. But anytime there are some fumbles. It has to be of some concern. But I'm sure both Willie and Santonio will hold onto the ball better in the future.

Willie made more than a couple untimely fumbles last year, and that one against Denver in the playoffs could have been a backbreaker. I have no problems with him or Santonio I think they will both be outstanding for us in the years to come but they need to hold onto that ball. In a tight game we can't have turnovers.

from what i saw yesterday the fumbles aren't that big of a deal. my problem is more with the field. i was against getting rid of the grass, but after yesterday that may be the best thing to do. too many of our guys lost their footing.

Too many guys slipping on that turf. The Rooneys really need to think about replacing the turf all together and getting something that would hold up all season long and with the constant usage during the season, like HS and PITT.

I agree. It's getting pretty bad and we are the ones suffering from this. Not only could this lead to injuries, but we are losing a lot of valuable yards from our guys falling
