Carolina's Dan Morgan serious concussion

Morgan to miss remainder of season

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Carolina Panthers LB Dan Morgan (concussion) will miss the remainder of the season due to a concussion. Head coach John Fox said the decision came after Morgan met with team doctors and other specialists who advised them that it was not in his best interest to play this season. Fox said Morgan still wants to play next season.

That's gotta be a pretty serious concussion to be out the rest of the year being that we're only in October.

That sucks. Carolina has been plagued with injuries for the past few years. I like the Panthers, because they remind me alot of the Steelers, so I hate to hear that Morgan is out again.

If I was ever to have a 2nd NFL favorite team, which I never will..but if I was, it would be the Panthers. I like the way they play and conduct themselves, as you mentioned much like Pittsburgh. They've had alot of our players over the years too.

I like to see them do well, as long as we arent playing against them. I hope Dan is able to recover and play again.

Hopefully dan can comeback from this. IMO I think he played his last game in carolina. Due to his contract.

He's a great player when healthy but the guy is always hurt. I think he has played his last games in Carolina too unless he takes less money to stay there.

That definitely has to be one serious concussion. Hope is can return next year because that would suck to have a concussion be the injury that sends you packing. The QB for Arizona has now suffered 2 concussions this year so his season is in limbo right now as well.
