Best way to make sure you get the best guy is to hire 2 .... knowing 1 will outperform the other before the cut gets down to 53 ...

"The most interesting man on SA ... stay thirsty my friends"
Well, if they can afford it, which apparently they can, then why not?
Hey Im all for it, let them both compete and see who wants it more. One of them will be on the roster on opening day and the other will be cut during the last round as they team gets to the max 53 man roster.
This should be a real fun preseason now !!!!
i think culpepper will beat out byron but i'm glad they signed both of em, hopefully batch won't be out no more than 8 weeks maxs
I like Daunte better, but y isnt this on Nfl.com or the steelers official site?
I was wondering the same thing, but Sporting News is a pretty reliable source. The Trib has this: Steelers likely to sign veteran backup QB
lol well i think charlie is about done...those are some big name guys which is kinda ironic since we dont do that. i like culpepper better, hes a fumbler and hes dumb but hes a great backup option....leftwich is a statue he would die behind our line, hes got a weird throwing motion and overshoots 90% of the time
So now someone finally agrees that Batch is done. I've been saying this since the Ravens game last season
------------------------------------------------------------Yeah his name was Colt Brennan but our scout overlooked him and we drafted a fraud named Dennis Dixon
