So, the weekend I come to Pittsburgh for Giants-Steelers the Pens are in NY. Talk about irony. Would have made for a great sports weekend if that game was at the Igloo.

What turn coats? We traded Malone and Roberts.

You want to talk about turn coats, I can't wait until we play Benedict Hossa and the Red Wings.

Was that trade a good one? I understand it freed up money but for a third round draft pick.........they're both not turn coats, I just don't like the lightening but we could have gotten a second round draft pick instead.

Well we just gave Tampa the rights to talk to Malone and Roberts before they became free agents. Honestly I'm surprised we got anything out of it. I don't get why NHL teams trade draft picks just for the right to talk to guys a few days before everyone else can, but I guess it worked for them and we got a 3rd rounder out of it which is more than I expected.
