PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers made a couple of changes to their roster Wednesday in advance of training camp.
The Steelers released quarterback Jared Zabransky and added a player from England to the practice squad.
Zabransky signed with the Steelers in February. The former Boise State quarterback spent time on the Houston Texans practice squad in 2007.
Wide receiver Marvin Allen of London, England will spend all of 2008 on the Steelers practice squad as part of the NFL International Practice Squad Program.
Allen had the same role with the Steelers in 2006 as part of the same program.
He played with the Frankfurt Galaxy, Amsterdam Admirals, and Rhein Fire over three seasons in NFL Europe.
Steelers players report to training camp at St. Vincent College in Latrobe on July 27.
