    Footballer Verron Haynes sued for bounced checks

    A car dealership is suing former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Verron Haynes for allegedly failing to pay $60,000 he owes for a 2001 Aston Martin.

    The lawsuit filed in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court says Haynes bought the vehicle from A&L Motor Sales in Monroeville in May 2006 for $67,500. It says he's paid only $7,650.

    The lawsuit says the 29-year-old from Roswell, Ga., defaulted on payments and has bounced three checks to the dealership.

    Bad move

    Players who are 3rd and 4th stringers and barely making the team should probably think twice before aquiring debt that is well beyond their means.

    haha what a joke. i guess when he is all washed up and tries to go buy a car in 2 years and cant get financed he might be a little upset. till then i bet he is laughing in is aston martin.
