    Townsend sets sack mark for CBs

    This is amazing since he has only been a starter for the past 3-4 years. He's in some good company with Woodson and Lake.

    The game wasn't stopped. The scoreboard wasn't aglow with a celebratory announcement of the event. The honoree wasn't aware of the circumstance. Rather, Deshea Townsend imperceptibly, almost invisibly, crept Sunday into a select spot in Steelers' lore:
    All-time sack leader among cornerbacks.
    Hey, when the previous record-holder was Rod Woodson, a member of the NFL's 75th anniversary all-time team, that's saying something.

    Wow! I had no idea Townsend was even close to the sack mark for corners That is quite an accomplishment when you sit back and think of all the great DB's the Steelers have int he 70's, 80's, 90's and now way to go Townsend!

    Like yous aid SF he hasn't been doing it long so he'll just keep padding that number!
