Player added to the practice squad.....

The Steelers held tryouts with OG Matt Lentz (Michigan) and OT Jonathan Palmer (Auburn). Palmer was added to the practice squad.

Surprising they maybe didn't go with an extra DL for the squad, although with our OL having it's ups and downs this year any fresh face is welcome IMO.

considering how "rough" our current group of backup lineman are just about anything would be an improvement

Steelers should just add the name "WHO?" to the back of the game jerseys of EVERY 3rd team backup and practice squad player on their roster.

I'm looking forward to this off-season just to see what kind of leverage Tomlin will have.He seems like a smart guy that knows his team's weakness..when the return game was a wreck he quickly solved that by grabbing rossum. The Steelers are usually the most boring team in the off season..so i'm curious to see what happens. If they get that O line straightened out this team could be very scary next season. But for now i'm enjoying every game.
