All regional networks.. cbs, nbc, fox, all have to show whatever game is closest to them based on what time each network has games. Since ESPN is a national network like NFL network they show it to everyone but cbs, fox, etc all have regional networks so they show whatever their told... west coast, east coast, etc.

Corrrect but isn't the 8-8:30 game on Sunday the only game shown everywhere because it is the only one on tv?

There's some kind of weird contractual glitch preventing CBS showing the Pittsbugh game locally in the Cleveland DMA...trust me, I work in the business, there is no WAY they are going to make more money selling infomercials from 1-4PM than they would be selling spots in the Steelers/Bengals game.

Suit, that is where I get so ticked off. Where does these station think they are going to make money off of infomericals more than a NFL game. Are they just plain stupid or something?

In that case yes, and thats why ABC when they MNF they got to show it to everyone, same with ESPN and SNF. Exceptions like that are of course allowed but when there's mult games on, the stations are controlled by the NFL and whatever asshat in his window office thinks we want to watch !
