Question A-Rod: What team for HOF?

Alex Rodriguez appears to have ended his stretch with the Yankees. So he has played for three teams now. He has statistically had an outrageously successful carreer so far that guarentees that he will be in the HOF. But he also has never won a World Series ring and has managed to leave a bad taste in the mouth of the fans of each team he has played for.

So the question is this.... If A-Rod retired today, what team's uniform would you have him wearing when he is inducted into the hall of fame?

    Anything but the Yankees!

I don't know that's a good question though, I would have to say just because he won the WS with the Yankees (at least I think he has) then I would imagine he would want to be inducted with the team that he won it all with.

I had to check this to be sure, but the Yankees haven't won a world series since 2000, well before the A-Rod era there (it sure seems like they have won since then, but wikipedia never lies right?).

I'd like to see him wear a Mariners uniform but I don't think he will since it was quite awhile ago since he played for them.

I doubt he will go in as a Yankee. I would say the Mariners.

Should be a Mariner! They haven't won and I know this because Mike Mussina went to the Stankees to win a tite and they haven't won since he's been there! LMAO

You got to think that he'll end his career with some place where he is actually liked. I should have put an option for going in with some future team. It just seems wierd that he doesn't really seem to belong to any team he played for.

Really!!! That is something else, but now that I recall the last time they went to the Series was in 2001, against the D-Backs... how could I forget

He's still got a lot of baseball left so maybe there should be an "other" option in the poll

I can imagine only one realistic scenario in which A-Rod gets a majority of baseball fans behind him. That would be if he can overtake Barry Bonds HR record and continue to lack any association with steroids.

If this was his last season he should retire with the Rangers because he had the most success of his carreer there. I doubt he will do good with the Yankees.

    My 600th post.
