I just hope Davenport can avoid injuries and prove that he's got what it takes to prove he belongs on this team.

Did you see this on the net somewhere? or hear about it on ESPN or something?
To Haynes credit he hasn't gotten many touches because of trying to get Duce more work in the preseason, but Verron will still get his 3rd down plays and he's a beast on ST.
Ya,here's where I read it. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/6021/news
That article is somewhat confusing. Haynes is a bigger back than Parker and while they were going to give him a shot for more carries, it wasn't just for the powerback role, it was just to spell Willie. Haynes is still primarliy the 3rd down back anyways. Verron isn't big enough to be a pure power back anyways, even though he does run with good power he's not a Davenport sized type back.
Well hopefully the dump truck can stay healthy. Paker, Haynes, Staley, Dump truck. I wish I knew what was going on with Staley.

Davenport also has a case of fumbleitis! Haynes has been a good 3rd down back for the Steelers, he just needs to keep his mouth shut and prove himself on the field. His time will come, but complaining isn't going to get him their faster!
Hey im new, but i always liked haynes, the guy catches out of the backfield great and he knows how to move the chains when he gets his chance.
I never really Haynes i think Davenport will do fine
