    Then again, Parker's hypercompetitiveness runs counter to his fundamental nature. His odd comments in the huddle are legendary. Last year during a December practice, as Roethlisberger walked to the huddle, Parker asked his teammates, "Hey, what did you guys get your kids for Christmas?" Ten men turned to the smiling little guy and shook their heads.
    That is funny! Great article and a joy to read. It's always nice reading about a players background and where they came from and what made them who they are today! Willie is one guy I don't want to doubt though because he'll make you eat your words!

    I remember Joe Montana doing an interview and saying how when they were in one of their superbowls, I think it was against the Bengals that on the final drive he looked over at his lineman and pointed out John Candy sitting in the stands

    Yeah that was it, I think it was Dwight Clark giving the interview now that I think about it. It's interesting to hear what really goes on in an NFL huddle besides the actual play calling
