Some of these players value the pro days more than the combine. If they think they have a better chance of increasing their draft status by staying home for a pro day, they'll do it.
IMO I think players that don't participate in the combine really hurt themselves in the draft,,,,,,,Simple because scouts & coaches from every team are there
and you get to showcase your talent basically for all 32 teams !
Troy Smith ran 4.77 and 4.72 in the 40 on what is considered a fast track.
I'm not a fan of Troy Smith, but he can throw the football. I'd be suprised if he makes it in the NFL.
Troy Smith can throw, but his mobility is crap.
Theres only 1 good QB in the draft and he was 10 lbs overweight at the combine. :banana:
