The "other boat ride" to the game. A great option for a tailgate
We here in Pittsburgh are lucky to have the tradition we have for our Football. The location of Heinz Field allows for some great options on how to get to the game. I work with Pittsburgh Water Limo; a small company that has been in town for about 14 years. Each game, we run a shuttle out of the Strip District on our 82 foot yacht. We offer just a shuttle ($15 round trip) or we also offer our Ultimate Tailgate package ($29.95). Parking is free and there is no traffic after the game when you are leaving the strip.
Boarding for the tailgate package starts 3 hours before game time. The boat leaves the dock 90 minutes before Kickoff. We have a full service bar on board with very reasonable prices. (we even run a $4 Bloody Mary special!) the bar stays open until the end of the 3rd quarter The food changes weekly for those who opt for the tailgate package. The food is based on the regional fare of the visiting team. Tomorrow we are featuring Skyline Chili. To boot, our cooks are presenting a friendly vote off against the Skyline Chili and their own "Steel City Spaghetti". Help us determine the winner!
The Climate controlled yacht remains docked directly under the Mr. Rodgers Memorial during the entire game. Those with tickets have the option of joining us back on the boat at their leisure. You can even join us and stay on the boat and enjoy the game on our 3 flat screen televisions. The crowd noise lends well to the game experience.
We do take walk ons, but you can sign up in advance to guarantee your spot. Our web page is www.pittsburghwaterlimo.com
