Early Mock 2014
My first mock... I didn't use current draft order... a best guess as to where things would end up (I did not put a ton of effort/thought into it).... and yes, the Steelers pick is my hope/prayer.

Why would dallas take ASJ? They just drafted Escobar in the second.
Watkins is the perfect pick, you know so antonio can fit comfortably into his #2 role ;-)
good point on dallas

Antonio would move into the "wes welker role"
Brown, Wheaton, Watkins.... in roles that would create a dynamic offense:
Watkins would be your Split End, running deep ins/outs/digs.... and going over the middlewith mid routes that bank tons of YAC... He has the size to play on the line and beat press coverage
Brown would line up everywhere and anywhere and just completely abuse zone coverages while catching 100 balls a year.
Wheaton would be the Flanker, taking the top off of routes while Brown worked in the zones those routes create. He'd play off the line creating the space to let his speed loose and protect him from jams.
And then a healthy Miller casually working the middle seams and soft LBer zones...
anyways... this has nothing to do with the Brown argument. If you want to talk about roles/positions that's different than labels.
WOAH calm down lol

I assure you i understand split ends and flankers lol. Brown does have the bulk and speed to play outside, but hes much better suited inside with the ability run in/out out of the slot....not something i consider a "#1" WR.
But hey, if he makes late game grabs to put them in FG range to beat the ravens, you can call him whatever you want
