You both still don't seem to understand what I was going for. I never compared them as players or their circumstances. I made a point that if Wallace had remained here, he could've rewritten the record books for a Steelers receiver. Hines Ward happens to be the guy holding the records for catches, yards and TDs in Steelers history, so I compared their numbers to see how Wallace's could have potentially turned out here had he stayed.
I'm not sure where you guys are getting this idea that I'm comparing them as players or the situations they were in during their careers. If John Stallworth was still the record holder for those stats, his name would've appeared there instead of Hines'. Just seems like you guys want to argue.
I get it, but the man did not want to be here and I don't think the Steelers F.O. was really interested in keeping him.
With that being said, if Burress, Thigpen (OK maybe a stretch), Washington, or Holmes had stayed anyone of them could have re-written the record book as well.
all that speed they talk about should buy them a ticket to the end zone, they think, I agree, spot on, We need to find the end zone way more in Pitt. Wheaton is going to be great, looks like Santonio who I loved, in his first game, pressure, what pressure
