But until Ben proves he can hold up for the whole 16 games and with Charlie "The Candle" Batch as his backup. Carrying 3 QB's is a good idea. Now if the QB's can hold up. It's not like we're crunching for roster spots (especially with Bettis and El's spots opening up) so having three isn't going to make us bend over backwards. It's easy to tell that we're not working with the two best QB's here but we're lucky to even have Batch. Most teams dont even have a decent BACKUP though so I'm pkay with whoever takes over the #3 spot.
Batch is a solid backup. But he has some trouble staying healthy.Quote:
