Worilds dominant on the left side? That is absolutely pathetically hilarious. Maybe the funniest thing I've read on here. Getting a couple unblocked sacks, being bullied 90 percent of the time and being swallowed up in the run game 90 percent of the time is dominant now? The guy had 25+ rushes from the left side against the ravens (cant remember which) where he had 1 total pressure in which he hit Flacco and bounced of him like it was nothing. Real dominant.
Just because he's worse on the right side than the left doesn't mean he's anywhere near a starter (let alone dominant) there.
Did Colbert address how to fix the defense instead of sitting on his fat a$$ and talking about Woodley?
Well its Colberts job to blow sunshine up our asses...
Did anyone really expect him to say Woodley sucked or theres no leadership in the locker room, etc.
Not just sacks, the pressure, the way he plays the run, etc. He's a totally different player on the left side.
Watch him. Not the stat sheet.
Colbert is nothing but a "blow smoke up your ass" guy. He'll say anything just to try and keep the masses calm. This was nothing but a fluff piece. We'll see the real Colbert by the players he drafts and the players he cuts. Period.
Cowher and LeBeau never played young guys unless they had to.
Capers when he ran our defense always got young players involved. Mostly the LBs were used as rush DE's specialists.
Hell Capers had Levon Kirkland playing DEFENSIVE LINE in Houston during Cowher's first game.
Lol you don't have to tell me what to watch. There's a reason i put "1 total pressure" in my first reaponse. There's a reason I've been sticking up for Woodley the last year and a half while people have bashed him. He wasn't getting the sacks before he was injured this year but he was a top 5 pass rusher in terms of pressure per rush. I've watched Jason Worilds. I go back and rewatch games focusing on certain young guys. Jason Worilds is anything but dominant on the left side. He's just less shitty than on the right.
We have a ton of holes and not enough avenues to address them all the way we want to.
