On a side note, what's your stance on the future of the Pro Bowl? Personally, I think they should eliminate the game and have a "skills competition" event. The players could compete, it's fun for the fans, and it doesn't run as high of a risk for injury.
I may tune in early on just to see if the players actually decide to play in the first half or just make it a walk through again like last year. I won't watch the whole thing, it's just pointless and all you do is see multi million dollar players taking a week long vacation.
As far as the future, it's just pointless in it's current format. Nobody cares about it, the players don't really play, there's no pride for your team or conference. Sure you see the occasional highlight but everyone knows it' just a vacation for them.
The season isn't long enough to have it in the middle of the year like other sports do. By the time 3/4 of the roster gets to the pro bowl, they haven't been playing football for the last 3 weeks and they're already in vacation mode.

If I wanted to watch a bunch of well-paid people give a 25 percent effort, I would watch C-Span. I usually do not watch more than 3-4 plays, get disgusted, and then turn the TV back off.

I will just because, while some may debate this, it's still Football. Kinda lol. Plus I know for a fact that AD will play hard and I'd love to see him truck a few halfassed defenders lol.
