Really like that Lacy kid from what I"ve seen. But we need so much in other areas.
This is my first post on this fine website! If Ryan Nassib is still available when our turn comes, I think we should take him. I love Big Ben, but we must find a great backup/future prospect in the near term. Nassib was slated to go in the 2nd round, but I just heard that Andy Reid & the Chiefs may make him their first selection. Nassib has developed rather quickly under Coach Marrone at Syracuse and is very, very good.
I usually don't mind moving back. This year would possibly be the year to actually move up and get an impact player. There are a limited number of them this year to choose from. We don't usually pick this high in the draft so hopefully a few QBS get snatched up (overdrafted) and some guys fall a bit and maybe we move up a couple slots.
I'd trade away every pick after Okafor is gone, for more picks next year, and watch the waiver wire for gems in the rough.
we get it, you like okafor
Stay the course and go with either Safety/LB for the first pick and vice versa for
the second pick whichever we don't take first. If Lacy is there when we pick in
the second, that might be real tempting to jump all over that though.
