O line cut blocking..

Why were there so many cut blocks in this game? Time and time again I saw the tackles diving. Why?

On short passes, bubble screen and slants, with a one to three step drop, you are trying to get the pass rusher hands down, so cut blocking is the best way to do that IF timed correctly

I agree but 9 out of 10 times it wasn't working. I like to see the tackles stay upright and fight! Seems to me a lot I things last night didn't work! This method was one of them..

I saw that game last night. I didn't see any blocking-- Cut blocks or any other types of blocks.

Agree. I was too busy watching the line on both sides of the ball getting shoved around like small children, to worry about what kind of blocks they were trying to do.

when was the last time you saw Pouncey get beat up that badly? I do agree that he looked terrible just glad it is not a regular occurrence
