Very funny piece. Outside response to the unis has been fairly predictable.
Actually, when I saw them with the traditional black helmet they didn't look that bad. Anything better than the white stretch pants they wore last year and those silly looking yeller helmets.
A Steeler should always have a black helmet on his dome. Period. I love the team as much as anyone, but think it's ok to laugh at yourself now & then (see the title of Terry Bradshaw's bio: It's Just A Game).

They are very simple It's either you love them or hate them.

oh yeah it's definitely beaten to death and will continue to be the rest of the season. I didn't like them before, I still don't care for them now. Honestly though if the socks weren't striped too they probably would look worse. If you're going to go all out you might as well go all the way. I like the tradition the Steelers are trying to uphold and celebrate but couldn't you just make a flag and fly at Heinz instead? lol

erm, i just watched it and i could have sworn he said "Trick, or treat? Do I like 'em? no, i don't... I LOVE 'EM!
