Bleeding B&G for many years, was skeptical of King's pre-season analysis. Sadly, he's looking right on after third straight road loss. Steeler offense still incapable of scoring at elite level. That means a defense that used to be elite, but now is fairly average has to win games for you. That's a recipe for a .500 team.
Yep, unfortunately we're talking a few or more years to get out of this. One has to wonder the teams approach to conditioning. I've never seen so many injuries and unpreparedness as the past few season's. I want to kid myself that it's part of the newer, bigger, stronger, faster NFL, but as I said, I'm just kidding myself.
8-8????? I wish, we lost to the Raiders and the Titans, besides beating the Tomlin Tards, how many wins do they have between them, 2? 5-11 if were lucky. PLAY TO THE LEVEL OF YOUR COMPETITION!!!!!!
8-8 would be lucky at this point. It's still early, but holy sh*t we can't play on the road.

It's definitely disappointing, and the injuries are just plain ridicules. Sad to say but I’ll be happy if we can get to 8-8.
Based on what I've seen so far, my money is on a 7-9 or worse season. We are a very lousy team, period. Our secondary is getting torched day in and day out, we drop too many passes, we can't run the ball consistently, we have zero pass rush, we commit penalties all over the field and our coaching is pathetic. What's happening has nothing to do with injuries. The other teams have injuries too.Quote:
