Yeah, this year a lot of teams have not played well coming off the bye. Teams that usually play well. Maybe the reverse will happen here and the Steelers will be sharp.

Confirmed tonight on NFL Network, although we all knew this before, Tyler Palko will start on Sunday night against the Steelers. Kyle Orton has only had 1 practice with the offense so far.
Orton is a guy who worries me strictly because he is a gunslinger. Good part of that is he usually turns it over a few times but he can sling the rock no question. Palko will do a decent job sunday nite but I have to believe LeBeau will have some things dialed up for him and that will lead to turnovers. I hope...

Chiefs almost won with palko, would they have won with orton? Palko tried and tried to hand us the game early, then he did hand it to us late! Yes handed it to us!
I know its a cliché by now but Steelers just seem to play down to their opponents. We saw the same thing against Colts. Yet we've also kept pace with some of the good teams which we've played and lost (ignoring the first Ravens game). Furthermore, teams have generally been out of sync after the bye this year. I have no clue why, but without looking checking up on it, I'm pretty sure that very few teams have won after their bye this season.
If the Cheifs had a QB that was even OK they would of kicked our asses last night!
Good thing neck beard was inactive..
