Patriots vs Steelers, Game 8, 10/30/2011, 4:15 EST
Patriots vs Steelers
The Steelers bring back a 5-2 record to the friendly confines of Heinz Field on Sunday to take on the visiting, arch rival, New England Patriots.
The Pats have gotten the better of the Steelers in the past on a regular basis, using the short passing game and heavy use of their Tight Ends. Dick Lebeau's defense has had problems dealing with that type of offense for years so it remains to be seen what scheme Coach Dad will cook up to try and deal with the high powered offense of New England.
The Steelers offense should have no problems, in theory, moving the ball and scoring points against the bottom ranked pass defense that the Patriots are bringing with them. It remains to be seen for the offense also, if the line can protect Ben to give him time to find all his available targets. Will we see the no huddle offense, the short passing game, a strong ground attack to eat up the clock? Time will tell but regardless this is a huge game for the Steelers as they look to continue their winning streak and get the monkey off their back that is the Pats.
