mm , somedays I wish he could kick my girlfriend in the ass !!!!
Now put 11 guys in front of him and make it the game winner.
It's definitely impressive because not everyone can do it but it is also unlikely he would try a 60 yrd field goal secondly it's harder when there are people in front of you
wind seems to be blowing in that direction... besides definitely different with 11 angry men in front and 60,000 fans watching...
[edit] College career
His college major was Business Management. In 2005, as a freshman, Waters was the kick off specialist. He was named to Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. In 2006, as a sophomore, He was a kick off specialist and a "Long Field goal specialist". In 2007, as a Junior, he kicked and punted. He was named a finalist for the Lou Groza Award. He was also named first-team All-Conference USA by media and a second-team selection by conference's head coaches. He made 22-of-28 field goals during the season, including being 8-for-10 from 40-49 and 3-of-4 for 50-plus yards. In one game against Alcorn State, he kicked 5 field goals which set UAB single-game record. He had an average of 41.4 yards per punt.
Most kickers can actually hit the ball almost as far. It is significantly different kicking casually like that with favorable wind etc, compared to hit the same kind of kick with all the gear on with 11 man in front of you.
I'm sold. After Suisham turned into Suisham in the playoffs, I'd take a look at this guy.
Kicking 70 yds is an accomplishment under any circumstances. You all are right though, in a game situation with 11 guys coming after you, the screaming fans, and the weather can wreak havoc on kickers. He's got the leg and the accuracy though, that much is clear. If he can do that in Heinz Field I'd be all for getting a shot at the job.

So he was 11-14 from beyond 40.... decent ..and 11-14 from inside 40 not good ...we need somebody who makes them all inside of 40,barring unforeseen circumstances..:2cents:
Something you never want your kicker to be told B4 kicking on an empty field "just don't hurt yourself"
