Steelers 4th round draft pick Cortez Allen was kind enough to join us today for an interview on Blitzburgh Radio. In the time that myself and Steeldad talked to him you could tell that he was very excited to be a Steeler and ready to jump right into it once the lockout is over. We also appreciate very much our friends over at XAM Sports for helping us secure the interview with Cortez. Shawn and the crew over at XAM are great people and do all they can help out the Steeler Nation get closer to our favorite athletes.

We asked Cortez about his draft experience, how he thinks his college experience has helped him, why he choose the Citadel, who his influences in football are, and much more!

Thanks gal, he was great to talk too. He is very confident, disciplined, and hard working. He mentioned being very coachable which is great for a young guy. He's open to learning everything he can, and being in a situation like the Steelers secondary is right now he'll have a chance to make an impact.
