Whether the coaches will admit it or not, they don't w3ant to run Mendy's wheels off. The are limiting his carries for a reason and i'm definately in favour of it.Quote:

I don't see how Moore is getting touches over Redman and Dwyer.. In a game like this, where its evident the game is over pretty early, put Redman and Dwyer in and let them get some experience...
Not trying to knock mendy out of the picture but we could have the best running back duo in the nfl. If we are trying to establish ourselves as a running team we have to get him the ball more. He has 50 carries for 235 and the suprising thing is he has NO rushing tds. If we have a guy who runs as hard as redman does (ex. end of the game run when he broke about 5 tackles) you need to use him on goal downs on the one. If you put lagursky in with redman behind him, theres no way Carolina stacks him up 3 straight times. The thing is we are using Mewelde Moore alot more in the redzone for run plays than Isaac. There hasnt been one game this season where Redman has gotten over 7 attps in a game and I think he needs to atleast get between 10-15 rushes every game. And if we are int he redzone put Mendenhall and Redman in there or do something to get him the ball more. I just think if he got more chances in the redzone (specially near the 5 yard line) or offense would atleast have about 4-6 more tds this year.

I agree with not running Mendenhall into the ground,have to keep him fresh for the playoffs. What drives me crazy is watching Moore and his 1.5 yards per carry getting playing time over Redman who averages 5.7 for his career.
Can Redman be an NFL running back, at 2 or 3 carries a game we'll never find out.
Redman can't do much more to earn carries. He's been playing spectacular for his spot duty. I would be livid if I were him. I find it funny all those people knocking him from day 1.
i really wanted to see dwyer in the 4th... but he was probably inactive again. rooney said last year he wanted the young guys to develop faster... but i guess mendy needs to break a leg so dwyer can run the ball a few times..
