A cooler with wheels on it, even a small one, is definitely ideal. Grab yourself a bunch of bottles of water and ice because unless you get a fluke day, it's always hot as blazes there. There are some trees for shade on either side but those spots fill up quickly. You might just drop your stuff off at a shady spot and then walk around and do your thing.
I noticed last year at camp that the players didn't like signing Terrible towels. I think they are difficult to write on. :imho:
2 years ago, Hines Ward told a few of us, that Terrible Towels are the most difficult thing to sign plus they are difficult to read..........
i got my very first terrible towel signed back in the 90's by a few steelers that came to my high school (i was in like 6th grade at the time) to play some of our staff in basketball for charity...i know orpheus roye and kevin henry signed it, but i can't remember the others, and i sure as hell can't read the signatures to tell, lol
Yeah the towels are great to wave while you're there but they are difficult to sign for the players. Ive never had a player refuse to sign one because most of them know how much our towels mean to us fans but overall Im sure they enjoy signing jersey's, pictures, helmets, banners, etc. a lot more.
